Focus on GreenWith a growing focus on the environment and green energy, there has been an ever increasing progression towards sustainable bonds both in the United States and Europe. To support this progression, Nasdaq is proud to have launched the first market for sustainable bonds. Sustainable bonds are a natural evolution from the “green bond market” but whereas the green bond market focused almost exclusively on environmental sustainability, sustainable bonds can be socially or environmentally sustainable. In partnership with ‘Sustainalytics’ Nasdaq has developed the criteria for our sustainable bonds market. This market provides a platform for issuers to list their sustainable bonds, and for investors to easily discover and invest in sustainable bonds. |
